Eyelash & Eyebrow tinting

Do you despise filling in your eyebrows every morning and want to look like a more glamorous version of yourself by the time you leave for work? Tinting lashes can save precious minutes at home. This is also an excellent option if not everyone has access to makeup or doesn’t feel comfortable wearing it on their off days.Tinting looks much more natural than a brow pencil.
If you've never been tinted before, vegetable  dye is applied  directly onto eyelashes or eyebrows to darken them. The color usually lasts about a month.Several factors can affect  how much time you can go in between eyebrow-tinting treatments. Factors in how long your tinting will last include:
how hard you scrub your face
what type of makeup remover or face cleanser you use
sun exposure
how quickly your hair grows and sheds

Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
Microblading is a manual skill of semi-permanent eyebrows drawing. It is perfect for those who want to fully reconstruct, add a slight arch , define, cover gaps or fill in over-plucked brows. The results are natural, undetectable fringe. During the Microblading process, we use Microblading needles to draw on individual strokes one by one.

Microblading is low maintenance. After healing, you can rub them and enjoy swimming and wake up every morning with perfect brows! No special care is required, except for a brief touch up once a year.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The best-customised shape of the brows is chosen for every client according to the face morphology and calculated according to the Phi ratio (1,618) Through analysis of hundreds of eyebrows, I identified and validated a basic set of eyebrow markers which I use in my unique eyebrow design to make eyebrows look naturally beautiful and compliment your face .

Microblading is an extremely meticulous process that takes around 2 hours to complete because we pay attention to details. It is not uncommon to lose 50% of the colour on the first application. All semi permanent make-up applications are multi-session processes. Two or three applicants may be required to achieve the desired results.

DOES IT HURT?
Pain during the treatment is relative. New clients and clients who are on their period usually feel stronger pain. Most clients compare the pain to the one they feel when plucking eyebrows. It is possible to use mild anesthetics in the form of cream or liquid that can entirely eliminate the pain during the treatment.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Colour duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour lasts and will need to be refreshed around 6 months. On average, the colouring should last between 10-12 months. Sweating and sun exposure also reduce colour.

With sensitive and oily skin, we can have several additional corrections to ensure it is perfect.

HOW TO PREP?
Some clients feel it best not to make social plans for a day or two following any procedure. Avoid tweezing, waxing, electrolysis, and coloring your brows for two weeks prior to the procedure if possible. Do not use growth stimulants such as Latisse®, or RevitaBrow® on your brows for at least one week prior to and 4 weeks after your procedure.Retinol/Retin-A must be discontinued 3 weeks prior to the procedure. (It will cause the skin to bleed).

Injections (Botox, Radiesse, JuvaDerm, Voluma, etc.) must be done 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the procedure.

Chemical peels and laser treatments may not be done within 2 months before the procedure.Sunburned or Suntanned skin is damaged skin and therefore will cause excessive bleeding. We CANNOT work on sunburned or suntanned skin. Please refer to our Contraindications, Pre-procedure Information & Care form for more detailed information.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY PROCESS?
The healing of the microbladed skin is fully completed after 28 days. 10-15% of the drawn strokes disappear after the first treatment (during 28 days). This is when we perform an obligatory addition of the pigment that has been lost.

Post-treatment flow makes up 70% of the treatment success. Conscientiously obey advice, because if you don’t do so you may lose up to 80% of drawn strokes. Rinsing and applying creams is of great importance.
WHAT DOES POST TREATMENT LOOK LIKE
Day 1 and day 2: The eyebrows are approximately 20-25% bolder and darker in width than they will be when healed. Expect light to moderate swelling and redness. The skin’s redness causes the color of the pigment to appear darker. There is some swelling, although difficult to actually see due to the thickness of the skin in the eyebrow area. This will subside.Exfoliation, which begins in a few days, will cause the excess pigment surrounding the eyebrow to flake away and a more narrow appearance will result. New skin will heal over the pigmented area and result in a softer appearance of your eyebrows. Don’t be concerned that your eyebrows initially appear darker and heavier in size than you desire. This is all part of the process.

Day 3: Eyebrows start to itch and will appear a bit thicker in texture. Exfoliation begins.

Day 4: The skin begins to flake, peeling from the outside edges first.

Day 5: Colour finishes flaking off and appears softer and grayer for a few days until colour clarifies.

Day 6: The colour has lightened from its initial overly-dark appearance. For the next few days, the colour may appear lighter than what the final colour will look like.

Day 10: The final colour begins to stabilise and show through. The colour will continue to soften as the healing process completes.

During the healing period, be prepared for the colour intensity of your brows to be significantly larger and darker than what is expected for the final outcome. This is a normal and expected result of the application and healing process. The healing process will take a number of days to complete, depending on how quickly the outer layer of your skin exfoliates and new skin regrows to take its place.
